Consultation may include the following:
- A comprehensive evaluation of your garden space to understand its potential, including soil conditions, existing plantings, aspect,
- A detailed discussion with you to gather your ideas, preferences, and objectives for the garden design, including discussions on preferred plants, materials, and features.
- Listen and establish a firm grasp of your main concerns and understand the major problem areas specific to your property.
- Offer solutions, advise and share ideas on ways to update, improve aesthetic and upgrade the home. This could be painting colours, cladding options, lighting upgrades, and aesthetic improvements that can be done inexpensively, but make a marked improvement on aesthetics to homes.
- Consider needs vs wants, to establish a workable budget for the implementation of the design down the track.
- Assist and establish possibilities regarding built form and hardscape design for the project. Including assistance with suggesting the preferred Patio / Pergola / shade solutions and Carports. Assess construction type for pools & advise on placement, layout, size, and discuss options for location and type of pool isolation to maximise flow and functionality. Consider pool structures and pool blanket housing and locations as well as placement of pool equipment and screening of this area.
- Discuss the options & limitations regarding front boundary walls, driveway gates, pedestrian gates, and fence infill design to maximise private use of the front yard and improve security.
- Assist with advice on navigating council regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements to ensure compliance of your design.
- Assist with establishing a theme, provide guided advice on how to achieve the desired aesthetic to compliment the home and the interior style of the home and create harmonious flow.
- Share extensive horticultural knowledge to suggest suitable plant species to consider and offer advice on existing established species and how best to incorporate, transplant or prune.
- Make suggestions for resourcing products, materials, and finishes for the project.
- Guide you as to the next steps, and the further options available to assist you.

Following the in-depth consultation there are various other services that we provide which may assist you further, these may include:
- Consultation Summary
A written summary of the Consultation discussed ideas / suggestions formatted into areas / stages of work. Plant material species suggestions. Links to suggested products and materials and sharing of contact details for suppliers of materials, contractors, and growers to assess.
- Mood Board
Format a visual overview of the project with suitable materials, products and finishes for assessment. Inspiration imagery and links to suppliers and installers. Visuals and suggestions for pots, ornamentation, furniture, and aesthetic upgrades to consider. Colour palette, material specifying, hardware, lighting, and aesthetic updates.
- Conceptual Design Plan
Preparation of a 2D conceptual hand-drawn landscape design, including layout, plant recommendations, and hardscape elements (such as patios, pathways, and water features). Share an extensive contractor base to contact for assistance with the implementation of the plan.
- Detailed Design Plans
Detailed plans to be interpreted by others for quoting and installation. Varying detail can be provided on a case-by-case basis. These may include structure plans, walls and retaining layouts, planting plans, pool, and pool isolation, decking and paving layouts, lighting plans, driveways / verge designs / Planting plans for Development Approval.
- Follow-up Consultation
A follow-up meeting to discuss any revisions to the design and ensure it aligns with your vision.
